IT is The SpiriT of '68. Peace and quiei' and open air . . . Peace-ThaT peace of mind we have learned To search Tor or may already have Tound Through one anoTher. QuieT-even in The busTling halls There was The guieT oT individualiTy, yeT Tellowship. Open air- oi The surrounding Tarmlancls, of The Treedom To express ourselves, To laugh when we were happy, To cry when we were sad. IT ever we are lonely. we can remem- ber ThaT we are a parT of The SpiriT of '68-Torever. We'll find a new way of living, we'll find a way of forgiving . . . ln our one-Time world oT TooTball games and cheerleaders, assemblies and deTenTions, bells and classrooms, we have discovered a way oT living. We have acquired aT leasT The desire To beTTer ourselves and our world. We have discovered The meaning oT such words as uniTy,. Tellowship, Up WiTh People. And a way of 'forgiving-4-we have Tound a way oT Torgiving iniusTice, inTolerance, phoniness, superTicialiTy, war. We have Tound a way oT Torgiving misTakes oT ourselves and oThers, unkind remarks, criTicism7 we have Tound ThaT besides Torgiving, we musT beTTer This world.
