The school newspaper, the Theresalite has been growing from good to better for the past three years. This year under the guidance of Editor-in-Chief, Marguerite Re- nuart, it may be said that the paper is at its best! From the time the dummy copy is typed for censorship, until that time when the news is safely sandwiched between two gayly decorated covers, each member of the staff performs his or her duty which will add to the finishing touches of the paper. The staff members will not deny that publishing the Theresalite is hard work, but they will assure you that anything worthwhile takes real effort. Not infrequently five o'clock in the afternoon finds mimeographers and page counters busily occupied. The older members of the High School can appreciate more than ever the insertion of new material in this year's issues. Greater interest in the paper was promoted through the T contest. The use of colored paper for covers was also originated this year. The Editor and her many assistants have published a Theresalite of which the members of S. T. S. may well be proud. It is the sincere hope of its readers then, that the future publishers will make it as excellent a school feature as it has been during 1949-1950.

The active program of the club has included Latin speakers, Spanish dances, songs and films, and a picnic at Matheson Hammock.
