Beside laying the cornerstone of their business education, jun- iors were busy with many other subjects. For example, if you had been in the library during one of their lunch periods you would more than likely have seen at least one junior solemnly stand- ing in a corner orating, with one eye on the clock, preparatory to that all-important speech class. They continued on their Quest For Happiness studying the Holy Ghost and the Church under the direction of Father Karper. Ninety shy new little students were added to our high school last September. But by now they have fallen into the regular rou- tine of school life at St. Stephen. At first the freshmen wandered around rather aim- lessly searching for the algebra class or the sewing room, but their spirit was never dampened and they soon overcame all ob- stacles. Among other subjects which have been keeping our freshmen burning the midnight oil are world history, English, and general science. They have really taken an interest in their new life. As they pass on to their sophomore year we would like to offer a word of congratu- lations to our spirited little sisters. Pll glhylt wc oofsfsfzs
