Their end- less ambition in its planning reached its climax successfully. The sweet melodious strains ol' the orchestra, plus the atmosphere of the beautiful ballroom, greatly enhanced that never-to-Ime-forgotten evening. The priv- ileged girls in their lovely lormals and sweetly-scented corsages whirled dreamilv across the floor in the arms ol' their tuxedo-dressed escorts. ln their enjoyment they breathed a silent prayer . .
