In the field of SPORTS, Frank St. john and Ralph Beyer captured the MOST VALUABLE. PLAYER AWARD at the end of the football season. The Pastor, Reverend Vincent Borkowicz, presents the Scholarship Award of plaque and key to Leonard Goralski, an outstanding student of S. S. High who attained the highest scholastic standing in its history. Leonard had the distinction of having 72 Honor points in his junior Year. ALMA MATER is indeed proud of you, Leonard. r .' fi N Q.--Q -2? GOVERNOR'S TROPHY was added to the school collection of trophies. It is a distinguished award for hobby merited by Leonard Stress. Robert Romanowski had the distinc- tion of being named the first boy scribe' to capture the Michigan Catholic's Reporter of the week AVVARD.
