Public worship is the primary and indispensable source of the true Christian spiritg and the faith- ful will be filled with this spirit only in proportion as they actively participate in the Sacred Mysteries and in the public and solemn prayers of the Church. -Pius X. The sacrifice of Mass offered by the Rev. Jubilarian, Father V. Borkowicz, the Pastor. The HOLY SACRIFICE of MASS is the highest form of worship in the Catholic Church, the best expression of the truths of the holy faith, and the commands and counsels it imposes are the sources of all that is necessary to transform every Christian to another Christ. Through the years of their school life, the boys and girls at S. S. High are encouraged to begin every day with that official prayer of the Church, To the students of S.S. High, Mass is not a Sunday delicacy onlyg it is a daily diet. They begin every day with the Holy Sacrifice of Mass. Having received the necessary graces and suFficient counsels, they are on their way to begin another day for Christ. the Holy Mass. Using a rnissal, they learn the Church's lesson in each Mass, which they, sup- ported by the divine grace, translate into prac- tical action during the day. But the Mass is not the only source of grace. God made Himself the BREAD OF LIFE and comes to feed the starving and needy souls.
