PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE To the Class of 1957, The occasion of the graduation of the senior class is always one of great concern to the faculty. So much depends on its members — they are the future of our country, our Church! They represent the next generation! So truly do they bear a great responsibility! Yes, there is a great satisfaction in seeing so many boys of sterling character as in this class, complete their secondary educa- tion and begin to assume their responsibilities. You have shown that you can accept these responsibilities, as partners with Christ in Catholic Action. You have been not only shining examples to the undergraduates, but also young men who have assimilated from teachers, and engendered in yourselves the high principles of character that are the aim and goal of every St. Stanislaus student. What will happen to you? This is in God's hands — but we can be assured that you will continue to be the same fine and creditable examples you now are, if you will live by those same high principles and ideals that actuated you as seniors. Recourse to Him and to His Blessed Mother for renewal of strength will make you the bulwarks of faith and of the Church in these troubled times. So my heartfelt wish is that you ever be imbued with Christ, and ever devoted to His dear Sacred Heart, an ocean of mercy and love as well as of infinite strength. God bless you and keep you.
