This book is a record of the building of a truly Christian woman, a worthy daughter of Saint Scholastica. In it, we have tried to show how, from her first moment in this school, a girl begins to grow and to acquire the responsibilities and virtues that belong to a full and complete person. This maturity does not come in an easy manner. It is a slow and sometimes painful process. The following pages are an account of that evolution throughout our high school years. They picture, too, the action of the Gifts of the Holy Ghost in a Christian student life. For four years, we have lived and grown in the world of Scho- lastica. But now we, the Seniors, have reached the end of our educa- tion here. Our development must continue, however, if we are to become ideal Christian women modeled on our schoolis patron- women who can see the world around us for its true value in relation to our eternal destiny. We have the ability, we have been given the foundation. Now, the responsibility is ours. As editors, we shall consider this book a success if it reveals to each girl in our school the steps she has taken toward Christian integrity, the aim of our lives as Scholasticans.
