SCIENCES SOCIULOGY No Catholic student can at- tempt to challenge the prob- lems of the world today with- out a knowledge of Catholic principles and ideals. The Sen- iors are endeavoring to absorb as much information as possible from the Encyclicals in order to arm themselves for the combat. PHYSICS As future members of civic organizations. students will benefit by having a fundamen- tal knowledge of physics. They will enjoy the many scientific marvels about them in propor- tion to the extent that they understand their construction and operation. BIOLOG Y God is the Creator of all things in heaven and on earth. The sun, the earth, and all living things are the works of His hands. The highest func- tion of science is to discover the secondary causes through which God acts-the Laws of Nature's God.
