November 18 22 1941 Many of the students of Saxnt Rose spent thexr Thanksglvxng Vacatton enher m the country or sknng 1n the snow November 27 1941 The football fans of Samt Hose attended the exctttng Btg Game 1n wnlch the Un1vers1ty of Cal1forn1a won over Stanford Untverslty December 8 1941 The Students had a hohday 1n honor of the feast of the Immaculate Conceptton They all hstened to the speech of our Pres1dent Mr Roose velt whtch dealt wtth the dtsastrous Pearl Harbor attack of the prevxous day Tn the afternoon the I C C W held a skatlng party at Wlnterland December 19 1941 The Chrlstmas play O Come Let Us Adore Hmm' was presented for the Students by the Dramatlc Class Santa also V1S1f9d Sa1nt Rose on thfs day and brought us a sack full of presents and candy December 19 1941 Ianuary 5 1942 The Students emoyed thelr two Weeks Chrlstmas Vacatton Ianuary12 1942 All out for natlonal defense Wxth th1s 1n m1nd the Students started a course tn F1rst Atd Many of the gtrls began kn1tt1ng for the Red Cross Ianuary 31 February 1 1942 Some of the members of the Sen1or Class went on a tr1p to Soda Spnngs to spend the day 1n the snow February 7 8 1942 The I C C W Dramatlc Tournament Prel1m1nar1es were held at Samt Paul s Hxgh School The wlnner Sa1ntV1ncents H1gh School February 12 1942 Professor Anthony Blanks Ph D pard tr1bute to a great man and one of the Unrted States best Presrdents by gtvmg us a read1ng on Abraham Lmcoln February 13 1942 The Sophomore Class p1ns arnved The wearers are very proud of them The tradt1onal Iumor Prom was held at the Palace Hotel Mus1c was supphed by Paul Baron s orchestra A good t1me was had by all February 15 1942 The I C C W held tts annual Holy Commun1on and Breakfast Mass was celebrated rn the Cathedral after Nh1ch some of the gtrls ate break fast a the Pa1ace Hotel PAGE THIRTY NINE ' 1 1 1 , .
