foreword The structure of our school has stood since 1885. For seventy-eight years young ladies have been graduated from her sheltering walls. Today we watch the plans for its destruction unfold before our eyes. Yet, in a sense, it is impossible to destroy the old St. Rose. The building may be razed, but the spirit of loyalty and devotion - the spirit that characterizes every student and graduate of old St. Rose - will live on. These graduates have set a standard of excellence which is the goal of all the present and future students of Saint Rose. The pictures in the school halls are of the graduates from 1889 to the present. These alumnae have helped bestow a heritage that makes any girl proud to say, I graduated from Saint Rose Academy.
