Our Wod t idtinauidLed umna Eleventh Superior General of the Sisters of Providence of St. Mary-of-The-Woods, Indiana— WotLr l oie yefa After graduating from Saint Rose Academy, Mother Rose Angela entered the Community of the Sisters of Providence in 1913. She taught at Saint Rose from 1939 until 1941 and served as principal from 1941 until 1947. In 1960 she was elected Superior General of the Congregation, the highest honor a Catholic woman can receive.
