Jorewor On the Banks of the Wabash Stood Fort Sackville In the wilderness a light Came to the place. A man of God, Pere Gibault Labored for souls. In peace Frenchmen lived Quietly on the banks of the river ’Til Englishmen Took the Fort and lost it twice To Clark in war less conquest. By the water's edge Francis Vigo watched the Settlement prosper as the Capital of the Old Northwest Indiana Territory. Seniors spend a pleasant afternoon on the Banks of the Wabash.... Another light The light of learning brightened Men's minds through the University which was to be Our Own Saint Rose Academy. Today, Sackville is a thing Of the past. Pere Gibault And Vigo are at peace In their graves Clark’s monument stands still In the twilight. Reminders of Past glory-these Alive now in memory only. While the light Alive aloft on the Banks of the Wabash shines Along the rivers of time as Saint Rose Academy leads on. . .

STUDENTS of Saint Rose Academy reflect the friendly and scholastic atmosphere made theirs by the dedicated administration of the Reverend Clergy of the parishes in Vincennes, the faculty, the Sisters of Providence and the lay personnel, the Parents Club and the Alumnae Association. With efficiency and competence these administrators supply the needs and develop the interests of the students, guiding them in the historic tradition of Vincennes and the Church - to a full Growth in Christian living.
