We hope that it will become even bet- ter known through this medium and serve as a guiding light to the students who are graduating.

DEDIC TIO All institutions possess traditions, but none possess a tradition as deep-rooted as the one at St. Rita. For St. Rita high school can point to the Rev. Ruelleu P. Fink, prior of the Augustinians here, and former rector of St. Rita, as its real tradition. For Father Fink is the man who has made St. Rita High School what it is today. To him, whose untiring work in the efforts to make St. Rita High School known, respected and recognized as a major educational institution, this book is respectfully dedicated. Father Fink is a man who believes in getting things done - and he found out long ago the easiest way to get them done is to do it yourself. lt was through his constant work, efforts, and toils that St. Rita was built into the largest boys' Catholic high school in the Midwest. He was also the leader in the establishment of a second Augustinian high school in Chicagos south side. Mendel Catholic High School. At present Father Fink is spearheading a successful drive to raise funds to build an Augustinian seminary in Chicago. Approaching this project with the enthusiasm of a bongo drummer in Calypso rhythm, his driving efforts and determi- nation are making the realization of the seminary a certainty. To the man who has dedicated his life to boys - and to St. Rita boys in particular - we say Thanks and Gratitude!
