BOYS SOCCER The Boys’ Soccer Team and I will share good memories of a good offensive game against Madrid, where we came from behind 3-0 to tie them 5-5. This was a real team effort. In our game against Colton, Rob Prior, scored 4 goals, 3 assisted by Mike Dumas. In our second game against Parishville-Hopkiton, who defeated us earlier 10-2, we kept the score 3-0. The defense, led by our goalie, George Morelli, a first season player, showed goal improvement and team work. Thank you and GOOD LUCK to the team of “85!!!” Yours in Soccer, Mr. Roman Nahirnak GIRLS SOCCER This year’s girls soccer team was not as successful as we would have liked, but we found ourselves in a lot of close matches. We outplayed our opponent in several games and still came up short. We will sadly miss Michelle Smith and Diane Joannette, but a fine nucleus of players remain for the “85” season. GOOD LUCK NEXT YEAR! Mrs. Goeke

VOLLEYBALL The 1983 Varsity volleyball team was young and inexperienced. We gave every team a good match and ended up with 4 wins and 4 losses. Showing much improve- ment over the course of the season proved successful for the first round of sectional play. After losing to Mor- ristown in regular season play, SRF returned the favor in the sectionals, by scores of 15-9, 9-15,7-15,15-6. The last match of the season for the Saints ended in the hands of the N.A.C. Champs. Undefeated Knox Memorial. The little Saints worked hard to achieve a fine 5-3 record resulting in the third place. With more hard work and determination their squad will be competitive and unstoppable next year. GOOD LUCK NEXT YEAR! 1 23 N- p (6 H-h-o h-h-p rt- Gfi p
