RICHARD PRIOR ROSEMARY GLAZIER The original school burned in 1926 and was rebuilt in 1927. The picture at the left shows the laying of the cornerstone. An addition to this building was made on the South side of the present building in 1938. The school was centralized in 1926, after the old building burned, and Santa Clara, Dickinson Center, and Nicholville were annexed in 1953. Now over 500 fill the building and the faculty is made up of 22, plus 5 teachers from the co-op board. Atthistime, plans are being completed for an additional wing on the North side of the present building. Of the first graduating class in 1894, only Mr. W. Wardner of Saranac Lake survives. Overt Parks, Edith O'Neil MacDonald, and H. E. O'Neil were the other members of the class. 1957 marks the 50th anniversary of the class of 1907. Mr. John Blood was principal. Anabel Green, Myrtle Griffin of Cortland, and the late Earl N. Weller composed the class.
