“BECAUSE WE WILL IT SO” We, the living members, of the class of 1955, do hereby happily bequeath our many idiosyn- crasies to a few fortunate individuals that they may benefit as much by gaining them as we have by losing them. These gifts are generously given by these talented members whose names are herewith inscribed: To Mr. Wagar, we leave a business law class that remembers the principles of law. To Miss Harvey, we leave a Social 12 class that will be able to interpret her extensive voca- bulary. To Miss Daly, a class that delights in hearing Macbeth. To Mrs. Mendelsohn a yearbook staff that will co-operate the way we have. To Mrs. Johnson, we leave a chorus that will be better singers than visitors. To Mr. Sharpstene a chemistry class that know the fundamentals of math. To Mr. Davis, we leave a private driveway so he won’t have to shovel all next winter for someone else. To the remaining faculty we leave the quiet hails of S.R.F.C.S. without the class of 55. I, Dick Wagar, do will and bequeath my ability to make wisecracks and get away with them to Keitha Kingsley. I, Jim DeBuque, do will and bequeath my ability to hunt anything from bears to women to Verness Woodward. I, Edward Servant, do will and bequeath my ability to blush to Jeanne Giffin. (Not that Jeanne needs it). I, Dave Parks, do will and bequeath my knowledge of Parliamentary Proceedure to the next Senior President. I, Phyllis Woods, do will and bequeath first chair in the clarinet section in band to Grace Gadoua. (Be sure you learn to high notes, Grace.) I, Edna Monica, do will and bequeath my curly hair to Janice Corwin. (You can go swimming anytime you want now, Jan.) I, Harry Brabon, do will and bequeath my ability to stay home and study to Gail For key. I, Sonya Winters, do will and bequeath that valuable book, How to get Along With One Boy for More than One Year to Ida Fadden. I, Edward LeMieux, do will and bequeath my acting ability to Carol Ploof hoping that she’ll star in a Dramatic play someday. I, Lloyd Roscoe, do will and bequeath my complete indifference to the women to Harold Phillips. (You’ll need it around Barb, Harold.) I, Mary Powell, do will and bequeath a portion of my shyness to Barbara Palmer. (A little goes a long way, Barb.) I, Janice Mott, do will and bequeath my good sense of humor to Gloria Mushtare. I, Kenny Palmer, do will and bequeath my strength to Don Parks. I, Norm Foley, do will and bequeath my ability to be absent for tests to Carol Moose. I, Donald Davis, do will and bequeath my seat on Denno’s Bus to Sandra Sancomb. I, Jerry Baker, do will and bequeath my never-changing disposition to Ruth Friend. I, Maurice Potter, do will and bequeath my ability to get along with teachers to Karlene Mar- tin. In witness whereof, we, the Class of 1955, have hereto subscribed our name and affixed our seal, the twelfth day of January, in the year of our Lord, one thousand, nine hundred, and fifty-five.
