For you, St. Pius should hold a special meaning. Make St. Pius your second home, a home filled with the joys of learning, the experience of giv- ing, the warmth of true friends. Work with your school in all its activities. Cheer with its cheerleaders, help its teachers, give of yourself in every way possible. In thisw ay will you be able to reap abundantly the benefits found here at St. Pius. Be an individual. Stand up for what you know is right despite what oth- ers may say. Learn to be a leader--not a sheep. Accept cheerfully what you know you cannot change. By so doing you will grow to a maturity of spirit that will mark you a student who has striven, sought, and has found. And yet, you should realize that the best is not good enough. Be careful not to be satisfied with the work you have completed. Strive to find newer and greater horizons. God has given you much. Find it in your heart to give much back to Him. This year is my last here at St. Pius, but the memories, rich and deep will linger always. The store of knowledge and experience I have gained as Student Body President will, I am sure, be of even greater value than it has already been. I thank you all for the golden opportunity to serve St. Pius to represent her, to love her more deeply. Thank you for helping me grow up just a little more in love of Our Lord for His many blessings bestowed upon our school. Freshmen, my sincere wishes of good luck are with you in your remaining high school years. Sophomores, prepare yourselves for a simply fabulous year of upper- classmanship. IUNIORS, SENIORS of '65, best of luck to a great group of kids. Seniors, my fellow classmates, we express our farewell to our dear school with perhaps a sigh of relief, but even more possibly with a pang of sorrow and realization that our days as seniors are no more. May God bless each of you and guide you to success in whatever you do. To St. Pius, to the faculty, to the students, thank you for four of the most Wonderful years of my life.
