Pyramids and Spirit This year ' s Varsity cheerleaders stomped their feet and strutted their stuff while the Lions competed on field and on court. Moderated by Patty and Tony Stephens, the girls organized pep rallies, motorcades and other activities. The football squad attended camp at UGA during the summer where they received a ribbon for excellence. Andi Ruffin and Debbie Gerstner were captains. Mary Angelich was Lion mascot. Basketball found a lot of new faces on the squad. Seniors Charlene Frazier, Lauri Trotochaud and Valerie Dorsey worked hard to put together a squad for the sub-region champions. Megan McFadden and Teresa DeGive shared the mascot duties.
