Band and Chorus Make The St. Pius marching band was under the direction of Mr. Albert Nemeth. This year the band showed noted improvement with membership growing. The chorus, in its first year conducted by Mr. Skip Williams, did well in its first showing at the chorus festival Choruses from various schools performed and were juded on their present- ations. The St. Pius chorus received marks of excellence. 58

The Steppers Strut in Style Cd ' ' Practice four afternoons a week is never easy, but it makes a good drill team. Consistently good performance and high spirits were the mark of the Steppers as they drilled at pep rallies and games. Officers Laura Buechner, Anne Williams, Renee Fredette and Janice Flam kept those legs marching and arms even.
