The Entertainer Under the direction of Lorraine Scarrazo and Bill Tweed, the Class of 1980 really pulled together to present a colorful and skillful cabaret. The theme, The Entertainer, was carried througout the show with a saloon background complete with Junior can-can girls and cowboys. The show was emceed by Senior Tony Yetman who will be remembered by his not funny joke jokes, and Junior Mary Schmidt who dressed in tails and a top hat. The result was two hours of music and laughter that entertained its audience through the final act. On facing page, versatile Tony Yetman displays one of his many talents; we let Sophomore Rose Whalen entertain us; and saloon dancer Janice Flam and piano man Mike Mohr demonstrate Senior talent. On this page, emcee Mary Schmidt starts the show; Rober Mr. Rogers Fratesi and Chris Dirr debate Who ' s on First ; Denise Peek clowns around and Lorraine Scarrazo is generally happy with the show. 33

Appreciates A Day Off Teacher Appreciation Day (facing page) gave the faculty a well-earned rest and gave the Seniors a promotion as they took over teaching for the day. The teachers were also treated to lunch prepared by Senior chefs. The end of the day was highlighted by faculty and Senior skits which the whole school enjoyed. At top left, Jim Kissel subs for Mr. Gene Brisbane; Robert The Dragon Klant and Mrs. Betsy Fodor presents an Ode to Queen Elizabeth ; Ann Anazalone takes over the janitor ' s job, and the Senior skit brings teachers before the discipline committee. • • • The entire community was involved in the second annual field day (this page). Classes competed in softball, soccer, field and mind events, to name a few. The Junior class was this year ' s champion, earning a space on the field day trophy. Seniors were second, Sophomores third and Freshmen fourth. At right, superstar Robbie White and stylistic Gina Piacentini hit and pitch. Mike Montross shows his soccer skill; Eliott Myers concentrates on the game ; and Kathy Goode earns points for the class. 35
