TERRIERS O PARADE For the first time in ten years the Paro- chial Terriers marched in the Hpigskin parade . lVhile the fighting gridders in no way came close to championship, nevertheless their performance on the gridiron showed forth a true Parochial spirit and gave good promise for 19-17. Under the excellent coaching ol' D. Ed- ward Jiorle, the boys went through a daily process of blocking, tackling, and calisthenics. After two nronths of strenuous workouts, the Parochial eleven met their first opposition- Flemington High School. This tussle found Parochial on the short end of a 12-6 score. In their second game of the season with the Bangor V. team, the Terriers came out PAGE 7 6 on top with a score of 13-0. However, Paro- chial left the win column when they dropped a thrilling game to the Allentown V. team. Emerging from the Easton Subs game again the losers, the Parochial gridmen did not lose conhdence in themselves, but went on with a new and greater zeal. In the closing game of the season Parochial snapped out of their lising streak with a victory over Alentown I V 's Although the Terriers did not come out on top, still a Hue Parochial spirit prevailed in all the games. Though Parochial has had a small start in the loothall field, it is on its way to future success on the gridiron.
