, 'YZ' amify Frankie Whalen entered his third year of coaching at St. Philip with only two lettermen around which to build a winning team. Ort Hoxie and Stan Fleece on fouls, St. Philip's was beaten in the last minutes by St. 'Mary's. Guard Rex Holloway was high point man with nine points which included seven free -throws. Jan. 8-Lakeview 31g St. Philip 38 Scoring sixteen points in a big fourth period St. Philip defeated Lakeview thirty-eight to thirty-one.
