MARVE ADAMS AND TOM O'BRIE COACH ED T. PHILIP Paul Aubin, uDusty', was St. Philip,s leading scorer this year. He's a junior on whom Coach Adams is counting heavily for next year. His plunging for five and ten yards was a constant threat to all opponents and although care- fully watehed Paul crashed through time after time. Morry Coutoure, great things are expected of Coutoure. He was our regular left half back this year, and he's only a sophomore. Did much of the punting for St. Philip and was very fast on the end-around plays. Tony Gambino, hard driving fullback, and another letterman who will see action next year. Tony proved to be a very effective passer and was also a very fast man on the end-around plays. Pete Dolce, crashed into the lineup when O,Brien went out with injuries. His showing merited him a regular berth and he continued almost the entire season. He showed the makings of a fine football player. Bob Kantoski, substitute tackle received honors for blocking a punt in the Marmon game and scoring a touchdown. He is one of only seven seniors to win a major letter. George Holy, Junior right half. A very good punter and passer. He was in- jured in the De Paul tilt. This injury kept him out of most of the season but he returned later in the season only to be hurt again in the game against Loras. Nevertheless he'll play next year. Mike Radowski, Sophomore right half whose line smashes against St. George enabled the Gaels to score their touchdown. Mike looks like a sure fine star in his next two years. A very good defensive man, both as a tackler and pass blocker. 74
