Senior Class officers make plans for the year of years . In the picture are Treasurer Bobbie Carson, Vice President Bob Cordell, Secretary Joyce Sheats. and President Roy Borden. The 'fimpossibler day has arrived, and we as seniors are wearing proud expressions. It was three short years ago that we as only a sophomore first signed our names to our registration cards. As We think back, we can remember how frightened and lost we were as we went to that first class. After the first week, though, we were really at home at S.P.H.S. We could not have felt any older than we did the night we attended the Sophomore Ball. There we were honored by having our own king and queen, Bob Davis and Betty Jane Glisson. We really showed them when we gave the Sophomore Party. 'Spring Fever , what could have been more romantic? The next year we sang the Alma Mater with more assurance because now we were at the half- way markn. We had now come of age . We would not only attend the Prom, but we would have the responsibility of giving it! Oh, how we worked, Class advisors, Miss McKenzie and Mrs. Stewart, look over diplomas as they make plans for the day of days . COIIIITIBTICGIIIBII1. ,. ,X-5' , sr. . making pom poms, keeping the parking lot, and giving the first Junior Jamboree , which was Just the neatest ! The night of all nights arrived, and we, as juniors, danced Neath the Southern Moon , exhausted but happy and content with the work we had done. Now we had one more year, our senior year, in which we reigned supreme. What could have been more exciting in that wonderful last year than the ball games, the Senior Class play, and certainly Class Night? With Miss McKenzie and Mrs. Stewart close beside us, there was no way for us to go wrong. Now, holding our diplomas and clad in caps and gowns, we cross under the arch, each to go his separate way, but each treasuring these pleasant memories.
