I - If Q1 , 4 X if you CHN Av' if xy Je, r We are, all of us, molded and remolded by those who have loved us, and though that love may pass, we remain none the less their work-a work that very likely they do not recognize, and which is never exactly what they intended. No love, no friendship can ever cross the path of our destiny without leaving some mark upon it forever. francois mauriac As we traveled the paths of our student nurse years, she left her mark of kind- ness. Always ready to deal with the realities of life, she instilled in us the knowledge to deal with reality in nursing. She generated a feeling of security without smothering our independence. In her genuine concern for others, she showed us how the human heart works. Always there, she understood even our smallest disappointments and triumphs. In appreciation, we dedicate the yearbook of the class of 1973 to Mrs. Flobey - You're O.K.! , , ,W W , 'Y A 5 I am a person. You are a person. Without you I am not a person, for only through you is language made possible and only through language is thought made possible, and only through thought is humanness made possible. You have made me important. ' With only a guiding hand you have directed us to the threshold of our dreams. You taught us how to deal with Murphy Drips, monitors, casts, and emergencies. But, even more, through the blending of your own separate philosophies we have grasped the intangible facets of nursing and of life. With each contributing your own ingredients, we have learned to deal with patients and situations, but part of your recipe was missing - the part you expected us to add. You left room for our own individuality. By respecting our individualism you remained both instructor and friend. You have made us important. In thanks, we tribute the Yearbook of 1973 to you - Betty, Darlene, Julie and Michelle.
