mmm Kira., 77 M, ima, Jamjhw Compliments of MR Sc MRS HARRY EASLEY 8a FAMILY The Sisters of Mercy Sisters of Mercy That is their name and their dedicated mission Noble hardly describes their purpose which is one of unselfish service to and prayer for humanity A more proper de scription would be to say they represent an agency of God on earth In 125 years of such service the Sisters of Mercy a. Cathohc order of more than 20000 Nuns have touched and in some manner bene fited the lives of nulhons without regard to the ndivlduals religious beliefs They have admin istered tt- the sick the needy and the dis- tressed. They have contributed immeasurably tc the worlds happiness and progress through teaching. All of this without personal monetary reward. For seventy-one years they have per- formed this type of unselfish service in Joplin through schools and through St. John s hospital. There is no way of adequately compensating the Sisters of Mercy for that kind of service to God and His mortals. But this community and hundreds of rthers are grateful and will hope that the Sisters of Mercy continue to serve as long as civilization stands.
