Jack Liddy was a good defensive player and did a good job ot running the team from the quarterback position. Co-captain Ed Hoagland played center and was an outstanding defensive linebacker, Leo Clementi played a haltback position and also played guard, a tine ballplayer in spite ot his size. Congratulations also go to the seniors who have played their last tootball game tor their Alma Materi Bob Murray, Ron Sabot Tom Reardon John Pallay, Ron Frost, Joe D'Angiolillo. Jim Trelease. Don Harkins and Al Kvortek They were a great bunch ot boys. and we hope they will have the best ot everything when they leave St Peters The team will also miss Coach Murphy who has retired from his coaching position, The team will have twentyfone returning letter- men next year and should look forward to a fine season, but some of the graduating players will be greatly missed. 1 7 is ,ff W I 1 ED HGAGLAND x CC-Captain Center X1 F5 Hoagland is blocked out by a North Pla 343, Saco 311, Sqwrwcc X13, are lrwcvf man CNC-ment: rn hor pwsurf. 1 ,4 Albert punts out of We em, zone. This year, instead ot the annual bazaar, each class was given a quota to reach Every student was urged to belong to the Dollar a Month Club. During Lent. mission representatives dis- tributed envelopes in which each student put thirty pieces of silver. Aside from these major projects and the usual donation to the Native Clergy purse. each homeroom class conducted some activity like a cake sale, an auction. or a game ot chance. Results were most gratifying. Our school received Honorable Mention Award for total financial returns in the diocesan Society for the Propagation ofthe Faith. Sister M. Matilda and officers ofthe Mission Unit deserve great credit for their initiative and energy in carrying out this year's activities. llllSSlllll Ullll c.- E 1' -di Q A cake sa'e l Selling cakes Snr: Homme Pc 1 T Q lease EW ng Cnarce' 7 c 'an Off to Trcnvsn f as gn Ra i.'
