The Old Wtich becomes a reality through the brushes of Maguire, Artie, and Kelty. 'l 1 A backdrop for the Holy Name Minstrel is taking shape through the industry of Helmstetter, Mesaros, Perhac and Bauer. Again this year, students having a Hair for art, enterl on a purely voluntary basis, several projects under t direction of Sister Francis Maureen. The annual H: lowe'en painting contest, sponsored by the New Brui wick Junior Chamber of Commerce, was the Erst of series of artistic achievements done by this group. Priz from first place to honorable mention were awarded St. Peterls. A second venture was the painting of backdrops 1 the Holy Name Minstrel and the Christmas pageant. E the most notable accomplishment was the Christn decorations on every window of the school, varying frm candles, angels, carolers, the Holy Family and attendar to children of many lands adoring the Infant Savi Talents displayed by these budding artists should aug well for their future in the field of art. Almost finished-The Haunted Castle on Grant's window by Hardgrove, Smith, Bauer.
