Saturday everyone wore huge smiles. For tonight was Conquering Night. After Mass the boys finished their card-shopping and such odds and ends and settled down to speculation as to the night's happenings. Six o'clock! Seven o'clock! Eight o'clock! By game time many Petrean rooters had arrived from New Brunswick. The team greeted by their home-town cheers forgot they were visiting and thought they were back in Columbia Hall. How could they do anything else but win? The second half of the game was all St. Peter'sand Newport once again handed them the E. S. C. I. T. Championship.
