ww. 4, OLIJ AUIDITORIUM Since then. graduates ol' St. l'eter's have been admitted to State l'ni- yersities without examination. 'lihe educational etlorts and progress of the school made rapid strides under the leadership of Sister l-oretta Tobin. who held the position of principal from 191-l to 1920. Because of the loyal and substantial help of Monsignor Ciillespie and because ol' constantly rising standards ol' education many iniproyenients were made in the school during the years 1920-1927 when Sister Madeleine hlorris was the acting principal. The old study hall was converted into an attractive auditorium by the installation of four hundred theatre seats -lockers were also built for the convenience ol- the students. The period also dates the origin ol' the lfeton lfducational League to bring about the co-operation of the parents and patrons of our Catholic Schools with the teachers. The first publication of the school annual, The Gatekeeper and the origin of the Krista League maybe classed during the period to show the progressiyeness of the faculty.
