The Saint Peter's 1956 football team was suc- cessful although the scores were somewhat dismal. From the first meeting in September the players knew they were lacking in numbers and size. The team, filled with determination and spirit, and built around the nucleus of a small group of vet- erans, performed admirably against Salem 2-195 Cambridge 0-19g Ballston 6-133 Corinth 0-255 and Bumt Hills 0-25. Although these games were all lost, the players never gave up and maintained their spirit throughout the season. The season closed with a thrilling victory over Greenwich 13-6. .,,.,.,,.,..,.....,'m-1-' The Sainls get ready to play their best in lhe fight for virtory.
