How often hove we perhaps for the lost time, the words are pregnant with new meaning. soid them e in courtesy, through respect, and too often merely out of habit. Now, as we soy them, As we leave St Peter's, each of us reolizes, yes, that he leaves 0 port of himself behind; but . more, that he walks into the future enriched with the priceless heritage of 0 Catholic Education at the hands of the good Sisters, they of St. Joseph, whose patience, inspiration, interest and understand- ing have been the guiding light to our Goal of Graduation. In the Sisters we placed oil our confidences and trusts. They did more than just teach us the everyday subjects; they wove into our hearts 0 deep and sincere love of Christ. They showed us by their example the immense happiness one can attain by following Him, Port of their religious spirit brushed off and fell upon us Our Sisters have been educators such 05 Pope Pius XI had in mind when he wrote in his encyciicol on THE CHRISTIAN EDUCATION OF YOUTH: I'Pertect schools are the result not so much of good methods as of good teachers, teachers who are thoroughly prepared and weil-grounded in the matter they have to teach; who pos- sess the intellectual and moral qualifications required by their important office; who cherish a pure and holy love for the youths confided to them, because they love Jesus Christ and His Church, of which these are the children of predilection; end who have therefore sin- cerely at heart the true good of family and country, The Sisters do not ask for words of thanks; they look for that which speaks louder than words. May our Thank You, Sister find its fruition in our truly Christian lives.
