Ebadication Three hundred years ago in Le Puy, France, the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph was born, Since that time, zealous women of this order have founded schools, hospitals and colleges throughout the world. In 1836, the Congrega- tion come to America establishing its Motherhouse in Corondelet, Missouri. It is particularly significant that we, who have accepted the Faith and been formed upon the teaching and example of these devoted sisters, should dedicate our yearbook to them on this their Three Hundredth Anniversary Year. THE REVEREND JOHN D. CURLEY, STL 1n the friendly manner of Father Curley, we truly know a steadfast companionship. His worm hearted encouragement and unlimited efforts to broaden our sports and C. Y O. Gcfivities hove enriched our high school days. THE REVEREND PETER F. SHEERAN Our high regard for Father Sheeron is paralleled by the confidence we place in his advice and judgment No one has escaped his thoughtful influ- ence and active concern for the wel- fare of St. Peter's students, both in- dividually and collectively.

cgem'oz Choice; H VERITAS OMNIA VINCIT This motto so closely connected with the title of our yearbook signifies to us something of great importance We have chosen the phrase Truth conquers all for the reason that in it we see a goal well worth striving for. Man has a conscience. How he follows it depends on his own free will. In the end, he discovers that when he followed Truth he was happiest May this motto as a beacon light guide us ever to right choices in the secure knowledge that in His Truth lies our peace and the attainment of happiness. CLASS FLOWER Forget-me-not. All the impressive words that have ever been used could never surpass the strength implicit in the name of the simple little flower Forget-me-not . Strange it is that such a tiny creature of God has the power to remind us of so much of the past; And this is the exact purpose for which we have the Forget-me-not as our Class Flower. CLASS COLORS Blue is Our Blessed Mother's color, and has ever been a cymbol of loyalty. To us it represents loyalty to teachers, parents, friends, classmates and above all to our Alma Mater and the Ideals she has taught. Gold reminds us of Our Blessed Mother's royalty, and has ever been a symbol of success. To us it represents not only worldly but, more important, spiritual success. In choosing Blue and Gold as our Class Colors, we pray that each of us loyally following the aII-encompassing Truths of God will reach Eternal Success. C LASS PATRON ESS tiO thou . . . who from thy fair irrudimzt palms scutterest all lore and loveliness as alms; Yea, holy one, who winest thyself to beauty for the worldF, It has been suggested that when Francis Thompson wrote these lines, he was thinking of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. She, whose image, etched on jewels or stamped on tin, is worn by so many mil- lions of the faithful. We, who feel ourselves to be her special children by virtue of our devotion to her as manifested in our perpetual noe vena, have chosen Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal as our Class Patroness. May she who patterned her life according to the Will of God, so that its shining moral beauty has ever been our tainted na- turels solitary boast'l scatter her graces and rich love into our lives and grant us to follow her in the Way of Truth unto Life.
