Foreword HE Committee presents this book in the hope that it is a faithful and inclusive record of the accomplishments and activities of Our Form. The form is an experiment to see if the book is well received in its new format. If the school and its Alumni like the new system, it will be continued. Our class is the first one in seven years that has had to face none of the uncertainties of a world at war. We hope we may employ those things of value we have learned here to living in a world at peace, and to continue our friendships with those whom we have met here. In concluding we would like to wish Mr. Kittredge the best possible sucess in his new posi- tion, and to hope that next year's class may continue living and preparing for a world at peace. HERBERT S. POOLE, II, Chairman RICHARD E. GORDON, Business Manager CECIL F. BACKUS, JR. SIDNEY S. WHELAN, JR. ROBERT C. BROOKE, JR.

Dedzkation HIS year it was with mixed emotions that the School lost its Rector, Mr. Nash. We are proud that this Christian leader was chosen from our school to become Bishop of Massachusetts and we are confident that he will meet the problems of our times ably. It is with the greatest regret that the School loses so great a guardian, guide and friend. Mr. Pond is retiring this June after eighteen years of friendly, faith- ful work in the Latin Department. His humor and lore about the weather and baseball have always been received with the greatest in- terest by us. It is difficult to express with what warm feelings we see our friend leave the School.
