They won two and lost four. Marseilles beat Mazon and Lostant in a triangular meet and once in a dual meet. They lost meets to Morris, Ottawa, Mar- quette, and Spring Valley. Marseilles had two Junior Varsity meets, losing both to Ottawa.

He used the title Take A Letter in addressing the seniors. Jack Trager, President of the Board of Education, presented the diplomas. Tennis Summary Marseilles competed in ten tennis meets, win- ning three from Streator, Morris, and St. Bede, while losing six to Ottawa Qi, Streator, St. Bede and LaSalle, and tying one with Morris. The netters also took part in the Illinois Valley meet at Ottawa where Nick Shank and Ray Moore took second place in doubles. OUTSTANDING Annual Athletic Award On May i2th at the Rotary All Sports Banquet Tom Olson was presented the Outstanding Athlete of The Year Trophy. Tom participated in football where he played end, basketball where he played center, and track, in which he ran the high hur- dles. He was also presented the free throw trophy. ATHLETE
