Today we celebrated the feast of St. Paul, our school patron. His zeal and enthusiasm is worthy of imitation. F ridayeFreshmen sponsor a dance appropriately called TTSputnick Spiny Decorations put us in itspace land? The Class of T61 shows great spirit and originality. Saturdayejuniors hold a bake sale in N. S. The prom fund strikes a good beginning. Fridaeralentine Dance. Hearts and Cupids reign supreme at the Sodality,s Sweetheart Stroll? Very evident, indeed was its social success. Financial.P 0, well! MondaywAchievement TestsH We are now seeing tests in our sleep. Could it be that we are so fond of these things??? Fridastea team! 1 We now hold third place in the City League! MondayeCongratulations to the Veritas staff! Maureen Reilly, Editor! Ronald Kowalski, Assistant Editor; Jeannie Woolley, Busi- ness Manager, and Iris Phillips, Assistant Business Manager. ThursdayeOur chief prize winner, Buzz Rummel, wins the annual nVoice of Democracy? Three cheers coming up! H Saturday-iiTurkey Trot sponsored by the Sophomores. The best social this year. Monday-Veritax Drive begins. We hope to be proud of the last annual of S. P. H. ThursdayeThanksgiving Day! We are thankful for much, in- cluding another long week-end. ThursdayeOrders for Seniors name cards are taken. Seniors are all smiles and pleased with their selections. SundayeFeast of the Immaculate Conception. But our holiday is lost. Friday iiVoice 0f Dernocracf7 trophy is awarded to St. Paups outstanding student participation in recent city-Wide finals. Buzz Rummel receives a golden key, and pen and pencil set for his fine work in representing us. Monday Sodalists become painters and carpenters for the week. Toys are prepared for the orphanage. A fine Christmas spirit prevails. FridayeOh happy days ahead! Christmas holidays begin after a long day full of the seasons merriment. SundayeFreshmen present annual Christmas Play. The Glee Club entertains with traditional joyous carols. Orchids to their fine performances! WednesdayeMerry Christmas! Santa had a busy night and we,re busy counting our many blessings on this blessed Christmas morn. Friday Holiday Hop? Open House gives a semi-formal. One of our biggest events of the year! An evening to be remembered.

MondayeSearch is on for coupons! Enthusiastic coupon collectors make a new record in returns. Tuesdaquatch the birdie! Individual underclassmen pictures are taken for the Veritas. WednesdayeSeniors sit under the spotlights for their smile Which Will grace a page in'the Veritas. Thursday-Teamk last game of the season is played tonight. A close score but nevertheless, 2 points short of winning Which leaves us in second place in City League position. Our good losers merit our praise for sportsmanship. Sundayepalm Sunday Procession. Many of the High School take part. MondayeRetreat-Our three day retreat begins with Father Flynn, 0f Curley High School, Miami, directing us. A most beneficial three days for us. FridayeProm night! Months of preparation have gone into the plans for this evening at the Princess Issena. We shall never forget this wonderful event. Saturday Prom picnic at Sanlando Springs. An exhausting, fun- filled day of sun, swimming and eating! TuesdayeThe Food Fair! A day of eating and spending. SaturdayeThe Freshmen again! A iicarwashh, on Beach Street Hard worklebut it was worth it.
