This flight, ladies and gentlemen, is to commemorate the 1958 class reunion which is to be held this evening in the llLand-O-Spacefl As we travel along we wish to draw your attention to the following: Decorations on the various clouds, planets, and satellites were designed by the famous llexteriorn decorator, Mildred Rosier. The numerous campaign signs posted on the llMilky Way,l to Mars urge all to elect Ronald Kowalski as Space Representa- tive in the Satellite Congress. His chief opponent in this election contest is Jeannie Woolley, Who, in addition to her political interests, is the proud mother of 12 lovely girls. Ronaldls compaign manager is Buzzy Rummel, who has earned an enviable reputation as a public speaker, and public relations man among the hundreds of satellites now gracing the firmament. The Spaceship Line on which you are guest passengers is owned by Jack McGarry, now an interspace figure in financial circles. Among the Class of 1958 guests aboard are: Mary Jean Kronauer, whose column lKV-oice of Spacewayl, appears weekly in all inter-planet newspapers, and Cecelia Williams, designer for llCostumes from Mars? 3. leading fashion magazine. Our charming hostesses on this memorable flight are Margaret Menzel and Joan Champagne. Margaret has published a book in spaceland code for all who wish to take correspondence courses to become familiar with customs as they now are in outer space. Miss Champagne is busy at present providing the refreshmentsellwind pudding with air saucef, Danny Rice and Bobby Sweet, of course, are With us as pilot and navigator of our flight. Usually they do not accept such assignments since the management of their rocket-cycle business is a full time job. But, they did want to join in this special class meet. We are about to arrive now at llLand-O-Spaces, fabulous rocket port, Canaveral, named in honor of Earthls first launching spot. Duann Poulin is the first to welcome us and give minor medication to those who didn,t weather the stratOSphere so well. Duann is supervisor of nurses on this unearthly satellite. At Canaveral we are surprised to meet Mary K. Lewis, executive secretary for Spaceship Lines. Mary K, we thought, had planned a career that would find her visiting fashion centers throughout the universe. At the rocket port, Iris Phillips, together with Maureen Reilly and Norma Yount, join us from another ship. They came by way of the Earth-Moon Lines. Iris, husband is one of the larger stockholders in this supersonic transportation company, and she invited Maureen and Norma to travel with her. Norma, whose home planet is Neptune, has been active in developing a fast growing herb that destroys the strange and harmful insects on man-made satellites. In order to provide for the small people on the planets 0f the outside iiworldf Maureen has devoted her time to the compilation of a series of articles on iiThe Younger Generation in a Satellite Environment? THE CLASS OF 1958 gm cgshozpsat . Once again the old must make way for the new. But dear St. Paul, your Patronage over the temporal and spiritual welfare of those who received their learning amidst the walls of your namesake in the last thirty years, is embedded in their hearts and minds, not to be forgotten by the disappearance of a building. The constant endeavors of your ever-reliable servant, Monsignor Mullally, and of your devoted handmaids, the Dominican Sisters, are also fixed memoirs in the list of innumerable contributions bequeathed by a Catholic Education. We, as the last Seniors to acknowledge St. Paups High School as our Alma Mater, do not out of mere senti- mentality, but With sincere gratihcation, wish to express our thanks to all Who have aided in the preservation of this communityk one guiding light for Catholic youth in this area.
