' D C7154; WM! Ill WE, the class of 1956, being of sound minds and bodies, think it is only fitting and proper that we should pass along to our successors and benefactors some of the great gifts with which we have been blessed. We hereby declare this to be our last will and testament. To MONSIGNOR MULLALLY, our pastor, we leave our gratitude for the pro- found interest he has shown in our religious training. To SISTER BERNARDITA, our principal, our appreciation for her kind and under- standlng superv1510n during 0111' 5611101' year. To SISTER ALPHONSUS, our assurance that her untiring efforts on our behalf have not been futile. To SISTER JAMES EDWARD, our admiration for her concern about our varied youthful problems. To SISTER CATHERINE VERONICA, our respect for her patient efforts to teach us the arts of the business world. To SISTER JOHN MARIE, our thanks for trying to arouse in us an interest in literary pursuits. To the JUNIOR CLASS, the happiness of being Seniors, as well as the dignity and decorum we have displayed. To the SOPHOMORES, the anxieties of the Junior year, together with the privi- lege of being upperclassmen. To the FRESHMEN, the hope that their stay at St. Paulls will be as happy and a5 profitable as ours has been. Each senior now graciously bestows one of his outstanding characteristics on some privileged underclassman. I, ELIZABETH ABRUSIA, leave my aversion for going steady to Shirley Tani. I, ROBERT BURTON, leave my collection of Civil War books, trinkets, and money to Jack McGarry to display at Chicagds next World,s Fair. I, MARY Fox, leave my air of serene tranquility to Ronald Kowalski, to enable his spectators to enjoy his skillful playing of ping-pong games.
