Enthuslasm D1sp1ayed Throughout The Year 1 f' N ii. .0 Susan Bronder Edward Casselberry Cheryl Collier The Saint Paul High Class of 76 proved to be one of great success. Class leaders were Mike Gfell, Presi- dentg John Weisenberger, Vice-Presidentg Cheryl Col- lier, Secretary and Steve Kayatin, Treasurer. The class had accumulated a sizable treasury over the last four years due to the well organized money making projects that the class had conducted. This money was earned through such projectsas bake sales, pizza and magazine drives, various raffles and the Christmas Dance they sponsored in their junior year. Academically, this class took advantage of the new courses at St. Paul, with 213 of the class enrolled in the challenging advanced English course. Athletically, there were many outstanding senior players on our sports teams, which added to the over- all success of the sports program. Senior girls provided the leadership for the foundation of a strong girls sports program. Spiritually, the class had one of the best represen- tations at TEC in years. They were also responsible for reviving the CYO, an important young peoples club A successful prom and after-prom was held Satur- day, May 8 at the Greentree Inn. The music was pro- vided by the Bellvue Stage Band, setting a lively mood for this 76 prom. Class Flower: American Beauty Rose Class Colors: Red, White and Blue Class Motto: We are not afraid of today for we have seen yesterday and love tomorrow. All in all this class showed forth the spirit this bicentennial year should mean, a spirit their prede- cessors showed 200 years ago. 13
