Mr. Alfred Smith provided the fundamentals of English to Seniors and Freshmen. Mrs. Donald Chase kept her schedule full as dance instructor, and physical education and health teacher. ,Va af'-we it Sewing class was one of the subjects taught by Sister Mary Virgie who also taught American history, Home Economics I, and Typing A. Facult De- Hours o Sister Mary Joetta used the board to illustrate steps of an algebra problem. She also taught geometry, general math, and was the advisor of the future teachers. It takes an education through hard work to gain the title of teacher, How- ever, to fulfill what this title suggests, the teacher must provide a foundation of knowledge and must ac- cept the responsibility of providing an interest inthe course for the student. When this is accomplished he becomes a real teacher, fulfilling his duty by work- ing With the students to achieve their goals. St. Pau1's faculty con- sisted of nineteen teachers , the largest number in the history of the school. Through teachers is ac- complished the purpose for going to school-to learn. They deserve credit for a job Well done.
