THE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT. . . This department at Saint Paul ' s College enrolls the greatest number of students in the college. This places upon it a great responsibility. In the tradition of educa¬ tion, the department seeks to educate the student so that he will in turn shape and influence the lives of other individuals. This department seeks to develop the ca¬ pacities of its students into competent teachers; teachers who will be alert to change and be able to cope with the in¬ creasingly complex demands of society. Students are made to realize that teach¬ ing is n ot a simple undertaking but with diligence and hard work, each can make his contribution to society by making a significant difference in the lives of the young people they teach.
