Shown in action are members of the 1952 Varsity. The Varsity has brought glory to C.H.S. by dis- playing fair play and good sportsmanship. To attain skill and precision, members practise long hours. Pictured entering Duquesne Gardens are seniors Joy Iandiorio and Gertrude Geneske. Ranking high among Cathedralites' favorite sports is ice- skating at our next-door neighbor, the Gardens. Other events held at Duquesne Gardens are col- lege and professional basketball, hockey matches, and the ever-popular ice revues. Senior members of Cathedral S Varsity are manager Charlotte Ann Waters and forwards Betty Woll and Lois Rihn Joining the Varsity in their freshman year, Lois and Betty have contributed much to its success Charlotte assumed responsibility for all transportation and arrangements

Although the scholastic requirements of the junior year demand much study and concentration, the juniors still find time for extra-curricular activities. Cathedral's varsity owes many a victory to the fighting efforts of the junior players. Junior Glee Club members captured leading roles in this year's operetta. ln the past three years, the juniors have built a firm foundation of achievement.
