BACCALAUREATE The llev. M. l'etei-sen ol' the Church of God was chosen to officiate at the Baccalaur- eate service which took place Sunday, May 26, at eight o'clock in the school auditorium. Music was i'urnislied by the Cirl's Clee Club. COMMENCEMENT The 6'ommemfeinent exercises were held in the school auditorium on Thursday, May 230, at eight o'c'lock. The Seniors, in their caps and gowns, were escorted to the platform by the junior leaders, llelen lfranek and Virgil Sandkamp while Mrs. Leslie Cummings, play- ed the processioiial. 'lhe Valedictory addi'ess was given by Florence Allen, and the Salutatory ad- dresses by Iluth Sward and Frederic Brandes. Mr. llarold l.ei.'amler was the guest speaker. Music was furnislied by the Girl's Clee Club and the Sextet. Sf-liolarship awards were given out by Mr. F. C. Brandes, Superintendent. Our class memorial was presented by the class president, Dick Codfrey. Diplomas were presented by Mr. I-lay Howard, President ofthe School Board. PROMS The Junior-Senior I'rom was held on Saturday, May 19th, 1945 in the school gym- nasium and was arranged under the theme, Song of the Islands. lt was managed by Dick Godfrey and his stall' of workers. Donald Gundy was chosen Master of Ceremonies. The Junior-Senior Prom was held on Saturday, May 4th, 1946 in the school gymna- sium and was arranged under the theme, Dutch Garden.
