Who can not recall the fine performance the freshman glee club gave in The Gondoliers? The Sopho more-Senior Breakfast is not easily forgotten either. Remember the toasts that made the occasion a memorable one? In junior year we at last became upperclassmen. Wlhat a wonderful year we did have! The Mission Queen came from our ranks . . . we juniors had won the coveted honor! Early in May everyone was bubbling over with enthusiasm as our first Prom, As Time Goes By, approached. The Junior-Senior Ban quet was held later in the month, and we took our places as perfect hostesses. In our senior year, as leaders of the school, we brought to fulfill- ment the dream of having a yearbook. Vife directed the skit which was presented at the Catholic High School Federation. At the Christmas party, the faculty received their Christmas gifts as mementoes from the senior class. Soon the time will come for us to leave St. Paul, but in our hearts we know that we will never really leave. Occasions of happiness, mo- ments of spiritual beauty, the friends we've made, and the knowledge we've gained, all of these we take with us-living memories of St. Paul High School. So chants the rest of the student body as the juniors look back on the manly high lights of their years at Saint Paul's. As Mighty Mice' they brought home the cheese and went down in history as one of the few freshman teams to win the interclass volleyball championship. The puzzled expression which can sometimes be found on their faces is probably due tothe odd assortment of dances which they have been chosen to do in school operettas. The broom and the sword dances especially linger in their memories. Since they now proudly wear the junior ring as of January fifth, these full-fledged upper-classmens are looking forward to the Junior-Senior Banquet and to their prom with eager anticipation. They will then be prepared to take that all-important position of seniors. There's so much joy and ting-a-ling-a-ling As leaders of our school.
