A few Freshmen and Sophomore football players show us their idea of a perfect cheerleader, Screaming, Try to imagine yourself in a small gym which is about to explode because there are so many people inside. You are sit- ting in a seat, standing up, or sitting on the bleachers. The people around you are acting extremely bizarre, screaming, clapping, whistling, and doing cheers. They even stand on the top of their seats just to see some guys with no hair come in. Don't be frightened, it's only a descrip- tion of an average St. Paul rally. You may think it is strange, but it's actually a lot of fun. Rallies were held before important games and their purpose was to promote spirit and unity in the school by getting everyone involved in a fun way. When a few students were asked why they enjoyed rallies their response was, It's a nice way to end a hectic week.
