Keeping The Spirit Alive The Pep Squad, consisting of Varsity Cheer, Song, and J.V. Cheer, deserves recognition for all the hard work they put into promoting spirit and unity in the stu- dent body at St. Paul. Most people think the Pep Squad helped cheer the Swords- men on to victory only at games, not realizing that they also planned rallies, made posters, sold ribbons, and orga- nized the annual Girls League Dance. Through the year the Pep Squad also competed in various local and state com- petitions. ELEBRHTING Hi' ., iii 46-A What's caught Lori Barton's eye? Some guy perhaps? Possibly the game against Servite? Whatever it may be, Bernie Terrones offers her helpful advice. Danny Pogue, Matt Cole, Richard Ess trada, Ted Prenovost, Al Aguilera, Scott Ryan, and Steve Kennedy fell victim, as sophomore and freshmen football play- ers do each year, to the Pep Squad's antics at the Servite rally. After school, strange, and not-so- strange things may be observed. Su- zanne Poteete and Lorie Collette converse with a friend suffering from too much homework. Student Life To fully capture a student's busy life is truly impossible. There are too many feel- ings, emotions and people acting in the life of one student. But certain fun times and heartbreaks are shared by all. We didn't all succeed at everything, yet we didn't all fail either. Each of us played a special part in student life at St. Paul's. Possibly it was by showing spirit, support- ing the teams, joining a club, keeping up grades, helping someone out, or just by sharing a smile!
