The front view of St. Paul High School. ST. PAUL Saul was born both a Roman citizen and a Jew. ln the Jewish tradition, he was educat- ed at home and then sent to Hebrew schools, where he memorized Scripture and learned of Jewish history. He set out to destroy the Jewish commu- nities who had accepted Jesus. But then Paul was converted to Christianity, and he began his missionary work as an apostle of Christ. He traveled for nearly thirty-five years, setting up Christian communities all over the world.
