Two-Edged Sword What ' s happening? If that ' s what you were asking this year, you should have been reading the Two-Edged Sword. The newspaper staff was really making news this year, letting all students contribute their ideas. It was mainly published by Miss Kearney ' s journalism class, but oth- ers were encouraged to contribute. Miss Kearney, the new moderator, • along with Paul Fournier, editor, and asst. editors, Jim Sherman and Dean Sowa worked to produce monthly newspapers. Among the changes made this year, a new feature, Lines and Letters , was ad- ded in which students could write mes- sages to their friends. On the whole, the staff kept students up to date on what was heppening here at St. Paul. Supervising production. Mike researches controversial topics. Check It Out With This year the Library Guild worked hard to keep our library organized and working as efficiently as possible. Moderated by Mrs. Fleming, the fourteen members of the staff helped sort books, work at the librar- ian ' s desk and in general, did their best to be of service in any way they could. The mem- bers dedicated thirty minutes everyday to help out in the library. It wasn ' t all work though, as they were able to take time out to have their annual Christmas party and the Faculty Tea in February. Also, they planned to take a field trip this Spring and at the end of the year, they had their annual party for the senior members. The Library Guild did a great job in keeping our library working most effectively for the benefit of the students.
