The Council makes every effort possible to promote inter-school relations. lt also handles oll matters which are of direct interest to the student body. Council members initiated ci Student of the Month program ond a Student Booth this year. The Student Council has amply proven its importance to St. Poul's. Father Moschel and Brother Martin consult with the architect on plans for a Student Booth to be built for the sale of tickets and scholarship information. Student Council members select eight students from those nominated in their homerooms to be candidates for Student of the Month. X

Associated Student Body Officers represent S.P.H. in all inter- school activities as well as preside in the Student Council. Officers are elected by the student body and act as spokesmen for the entire school throughout the year. Student control members leave class early in order to be at their posts when the bell rings. Student Control members brave the onslaught of stu- dents released trom class and keep the flow of hall traffic orderly and systematic.
